The shoes in the Prada FW14 Ready to Wear collection feel less like fashion objects and more like small pieces of architecture. They are strong, almost heavy in presence, with shapes that remind of concrete forms and sharp structures.

Many designs, especially the wedges, look industrial and engineered. Metal elements and hard surfaces give them an industrial and brutal feel. They do not try to be soft or delicate. Instead, they stand firm, with a clear and direct form. The shoes feel constructed, almost mechanical, as if they were designed rather than styled.

This gorgeous knee-high wedge boots from 14 & 41 look will be available soon in our stock.

There is also a sense of the future in them. Not in a digital way, but a raw one. A future built with steel, pressure, and structure. The shoes feel protective, almost like armour for the feet.

The show itself explored femininity in a complex way. It mixed strict shapes with decorative details, and played with the idea of strength versus fragility. The clothes felt layered and controlled, sometimes even heavy, as if they were carrying a certain tension.
We are not really fans of the full collection. It feels difficult and not always easy to wear. But the shoes are something else. They are exceptional. Strong, bold, and unforgettable - wow.
